Charlie Hayes was drafted by the San Francisco Giants in the third round of the 1983 draft. He played for several teams during his 13 year career,but is known for the last out catch of the 1996 world series when he was on the New York Yankees.He was one of the best line drive hitter at his position . Jay Andrews started his career by leading the City of Houston in hitting his senior year at M.B. Smiley High School. Jay was drafted in 1989 by the Kansas City Royals. He was a farm hand in the Royals organization till 1992. Jay played in the Texas - Louisiana League from 1994 to 1997. In 1994 he was MVP for the Alexandria Aces Professional Baseball Team. In 1995 Jay made it to the Majors with the San Diego Padres. Now Jay is a Counselor having recieved his Masters of Arts in the Fall of 2004.
