Charlie Hayes


Third baseman Charlie Hayes was the first choice of the Colorado Rockies in the 1993 expansion draft. In his first year with the team in 1993, he set personal records with 25 home runs, a league-leading 45 doubles, 89 runs, 98 RBI and a .305 batting average. The picture above shows the last out catch of the 1996 World Series in which Charlie was a member of the NEW YORK YANKEES.

He is now the owner and operator of Big League Baseball Academy in Houston, Texas.

  • Won a World Series Ring with the New York Yankees in 1996

Fact: Did you know that Charlie Hayes is only one of the few major league ballplayers who played in both a Little League World Series & Major League World Series during his career.
